When people give advice they are almost always telling you how to do what they would do. It can be like a monkey explaining to a fish how to climb a tree - frustrating for the fish and the monkey! We are all very different, we have different skills, different personalities, and there is no one single correct way to crack most challenges. Coaching is about finding a solution that comes from you, comes from your own understanding of your unique skills and abilities, and has integrity with your personality. The chances of you committing to and following through on that kind of action point is much higher because there is so much less friction. Lean into your sweet-spot, go in your own flow. Avoid getting stuck executing someone else's flawed plan for you.

What is Emotional Intelligence?

Why is it Important?
Emotional intelligence covers all of the data we send, verbally, and non verbally to those around us, and also covers how we understand all of the data we receive back. Getting a better understanding of our EQ impacts just about every activity we do on a daily basis.
What can I do about it?
The EQi 2.0 assessment returns a score against 15 subscales, each representing a facet of your emotional intelligence. It allows you to very quickly and specifically come up with goals which will increase your EQ which means you will have more impact in every sphere of activity.

Introducing the EQi 2.0 Leadership Report
Every company has experienced instances where a leader within the organization shows strengths in core competencies necessary for the role, but may be exhibiting EI blind spots of which peers are taking notice. Or, a company finds an employee that exhibits great work ethic and is an emerging star amongst his/her peers, while showing comparable traits to leaders within the organization. In both scenarios, the Leadership Report can be used when honing in on leadership development, executive development and coaching, and developing high potential leaders. The Leadership Report examines results through four key dimensions: Authenticity, Coaching, Insight, and Innovation. The report also contains insights on the possible implications of results, and which skills have the highest potential of becoming leadership derailers. Strategies for development will be provided with the aim to attain true leadership potential, while being able to compare results against top leaders as a benchmark.
